Tobermory, ON – ChargerQuest, Canada’s Electric Vehicle Charging Network, is installing six (6) FAST Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at the TobermoryCommunity Centre. In partnership with the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, this EV charging site will be one of ChargerQuest’s flagship supercharging locations in the region, creating a hub for EV drivers visiting Tobermory, local attractions and its incredible amenities.

ChargerQuest will begin development of the charging hub in late August 2022, and it will be located on the west side of the Tobermory Community Centre parking lot – immediately adjacent to Highway #6 and walking distance to the many amenities, shopping and restaurants in Tobermory. EV drivers can download the ChargerQuest app and simply scan, plug in and charge. Located in the beautiful Northern Bruce Peninsula, this EV charging hub sets a very high standard for ultra-fast EV charging: promoting eco-tourism, EV adoption, and clean emission-free travel.

“The Tobermory supercharging hub will be a flagship FAST L3 charging site. As EV adoption continues to grow, this hub will be critical for EV drivers seeking to top-up while exploring this region’s natural beauty, boarding the ferry to Manitoulin Island, and vacationing in one of Canada’s premier playgrounds. We are thrilled to partner with the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula on this incredible initiative.” – Christopher Misch, CEO, ChargerQuest Inc.

“The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is very excited for our partnership with ChargerQuest and to see the installation of the EV Charging Stations at the Tobermory Community Centre”, stated CAO Van Mierlo-West. “This will provide owners of electric vehicles a new option to visit the peninsula and not be concerned about charging.” – Peggy Van Mierlo-West, CAO, Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula
